Bio

To be a successful Recording Artist, a Music Producer, a Songwriter, or a Graphic Designer, requires a great deal. It requires
passion, determination, focus, and a dedication to excellence.
To be all of these at once, is an entirely different matter. From
Clinton, MD. (just outside of the nation's capital) , Donnie
Brasco exhibits all of these skills and performs them
masterfully while hoping to peak the interest of eyes and ears around the world, and point them in the direction of the “DMV” corridor.

A talented musician, Donnie Brasco learned to play his first
instrument (a trumpet) at the age of 8 while in grade school.
At the age of 9, Donnie began piano instruction, and
ultimately learned to play in excess of 20+ instruments up
through the 12th grade. Such musicianship can (at the very
least) be attributed to his father, Percy, who too was an
accomplished musician. During the 70’s, Percy enjoyed
the opportunity to play with such bands as Donald Bird
and the Blackbirds and the Crown Heights Affair, and
was instrumental in beginning Donnie’s growth as a
musician.

At the present, Donnie Brasco has expanded his
repertoire to songwriting and design. While working on
his own recording projects, Donnie is working with a
great many artists (Jorob Waldrob, Nicholas Baker,
Feel Mason, Treese, etc.), cultivating and
developing their projects. Donnie has even begun to
manage artists starting with “Treese”, a talented rap artist
from the DMV area also. Though Donnie keeps busy and
has been through quite a great deal of adversity over
time to get to this point in his career, Donnie feels that
he has equally been through enough positive and
uplifting situations that help him and others
around him. “Through all my years, I’ve strived to be
just who I am because I feel that I’m important enough
to be me. I’ve never tried to be someone that I’m not.
Hopefully, people can see a little bit of themselves in
me, and see how I pulled through my struggles, which
will in turn, inspire them to do great things”, Donnie
says with sincerity.
