Bio

*Conceived, bred and nurtured in an environment where music is the centre and the way of life, DNA ROCK lets their name speak for what they are. As blood brothers, it's their "DNA" that commands their musical aptitude combined by their tight and intense "power rock".

Since 2002 when DNA ROCK was officially formed, this undeniably talented 3 piece rock outfit had strongly build up loyal followings sweeping all major rock venues from Brisbane to Gold Coast to the NSW and had earned a big wrap for their musical skills with (then) 14 year old Jericho, the youngest sibling and unsurprisingly, dubbed as a "guitar child prodigy".

While they were blowing crowds away with their "unreal" covers of Led Zep, ACDC & Hendrix to name a few, writing original materials has impelled the brothers to head into a more challenging and steadfast direction. By August 2004, they released their debut album which took their standard of musicianship to a new height. DNA ROCK's album was produced and digitally engineered by the now 16 year old himself, Jayc (Jericho) assisted by brothers Josh, the band's drummer and bassist/lead vocalist Jeremiah (aka "Don Pancho"). Their self-titled debut album is merely a statement, a declaration of their roots in a pure & honest way of expressing their musical flair the way the "masters" & the "legends" did it.*

THE GOLD COAST BULLETIN (23/06/05) “DNA ROCK brothers are no Hansons – their music is heavy, rough and in the true spirit of rock ‘n’ roll. Don, Josh and Jayc Pancho are doing it the “hard way, but the honest way” in the vein of the rock legends – Hendrix and ACDC”. “The strong dynamics of the band and each member’s expertise over their instrument of choice have not only drawn in the fans, but also made them noted in the industry”.
