Doc Strange

Why settle for average when you can have strange? Since deciding in 2012 that he would rather pursue his passion with a career in rap rather than go to medical school, Doc Strange has been steadily rising amongst the ranks of up and coming Texas rap artists. Whether it's flipping styles on a dime, bringing raw, un-cut energy to live performances, or offering up unique, sonic approaches to crafting tracks, the good doctor delivers time and time again.

Although he's been freestyling in blunt circles since before he could drive, Doc hadn't recorded or released anything officially until 2012, and in 2014, was featured as one of the lead member's and co-executive producer for the C.R.E.A.M.'s debut mixtape, White Lines. Ever evolving, Doc has grown tremendously with his solo ventures, and as one of the major creative forces behind The Graduate$, a soon-to-be powerhouse, Internet-based collective out of central Texas.

His style varies with the mood and tone of his lyrics, but despite covering a lot of range, he never seems out of his element due to his background in culture, science, and finessing his way through life and the education system. Nearly every bar has a deeper, higher meaning, and his use of explosive double-time and highly imaginative concepts makes every verse a cinematic experience. 

When he's not in the lab producing and writing for the collective or his soon-to-be announced solo project, Doc is helping orchestrate visuals, designing clothing, and developing creative content for artists across the world with his imprint LOVETHECLINIC. 

"This is bigger than music to me. This is about a generation of kids that's been bullshited to in matters of life, love, education, and spiritual growth, even. We got some major shit to accomplish," says Strange. "I love my people, and want to help in any way I can. I want to lend my vision to the future."
