Doc & Kit

Doc & Kit

 CaƱon City, Colorado, USA

Doc & Kit first sang together at a funeral in Las Vegas. It was a very sad occasion . . . but we had a good set! 4 years later and we've still got it. A unique vocal blend, tight harmonies and minimalist guitar work (mostly). Combined with an eclectic mix of acoustically rendered multi-genre covers, and originals, gives our show a familiar "Old Timey" feel with enough variety to assure that everyone gets fed.
We Hope you all enjoy it!!

Rocky Mountain Home

Written By: Doc Sanders

I was born in Colorado, and it's always been my home.
O'er her mountains I have rambled, and her canyons I have roamed.

High up in the pine & aspen, where a man can be alone.
Where the stream falls through the valley, lies my Rocky Mountain Home.

By her waters I have lingered, sunlight dappling on the stone.
All around, the native wonders just waiting to be known.

(repeat chorus)

Gentle twilight yet I tarry, red clouds darkening to the west.
Endless stars will fill the night sky, ever there I'll take my rest.

(repeat chorus twice w/tag)
