BIO:
Doctor Detroit is an Electro House DJ & Producer based out of Detroit. He has gone from being a local basement party DJ, to rocking the dance floors around Detroit and worldwide by Internet radio, and blogs. As a self taught DJ he has always pushed the limits of his mixing and always tries to keep it interesting for the crowd. His unique style of House & Electro House keeps the crowd dancing and wanting more. You would have to listen to one of his mixes to understand the complete complexity of it. He has evolved only in a few years into a fan favorite in Detroit’s electro clubs. Doctor Detroit has played with some of Detroit’s top artiest including the Punisher and Superdre, a long with Taylor Hawkins, Brother Mike, Dj Quintin, and Shea Thomas. Doctor Detroit has also produced and remixed a lot of music, from remixing bands like Tiesto, 808 State, Tiga, and Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip, Brother Mike, Devo, Franz Ferdinand, Yellow, and Autumn Rhapsody. He was also produced songs like Blank, Mumbai Head Smash, and Space Invaded. His upcoming album, which is expected to be released in October or November, is going to contain some great club tracks, reworks, and remixes of his older songs. The future looks bright for Doctor Detroit with expected appearances at Lollapalooza, The North Coast Festival, and ‘Dude? Where’s My Tent 2?’. As well as his 27-stop Eastern, Florida, and Canada tour, in August/ September. This will be then followed by his Midwest, California and West Canada tour.
