Dodô Azevedo

Dodô Azevedo is a brazillian writer and philosopher - and composer, singer and multi-instrumentist as well. In the last 8 years he traveled the world for work and in every city he was homesick he composed a song about that feeling. Each song was named after the name of the city it was composed. Now he is releasing his first album called Doze Cidades -12 cities - recorded in Rio de Janeiro with musicians of each nationality of the song, as Sweden, Nigeria, France, United Kingdom, USA and Germany. So the song's names are: "Berlim", "Los Angeles", "Tanger", "London", "Lisbon", "Paris", "Tokyo" etc. All Lyrics were written in portuguese, "the universal tongue of homesickness". Formed by brazillians musicians - among them Caetano Veloso's guitarrist and drummer,  Dodô Azevedo's band starts the Doze Cidades tour in Brussels, Belgium Feb 16.
