Doesin's music is difficult to define by a single genre- their sound ranges anywhere from frantic psychedelic funk-punk to sprawling heavy prog-rock epics, from jazzy melodic indie rock to howling tribal drum circle stomps. In a similar fashion, the band's lyrics weave together various world mythologies to describe a universal shamanic rock-n-roll odyssey of sorts, but their oddball sense of humor and irreverent stage banter help balance the pagan drama of the performance with an irresistibly funky party atmosphere. Every show is a unique experience; Doesin doesn't disappoint.
