Bio
Dog and Tony Show is the solo project of Minneapolis, Minnesota's Tony Thomas.
Thomas was a guitarist and songwriter in the Minneapolis band, Anchorhead. A drummer in the past, he's drums played in the hardcore band Man Afraid and the folk and bluegrass band, Five Easy Pieces.
Thomas grew up in Mower County in southern Minnesota. Though he lives in Minneapolis, he draws on his rural experiences to write songs about his experiences growing up and living in Minnesota. The sound is alt-country in the vein of John Prine, Richard Buckner, Townes Van Zandt.
Dog and Tony Show is his first solo project.
