“Doggy Doo-wop” Now Available from Lion & Frog Productions
August 12, 2004, Nashville, TN—Lion & Frog Productions today announced availability of its new CD,
“Doggy Doo-wop, a little dog music.” Featuring a variety of musical styles and songs from a dog’s perspective, the CD is a follow-up to its companion CD introduced in 2002, the popular “Meow Melodies,
a little cat music.”
The tongue-in-cheek CD is the second for Lion & Frog principals, Lisa Webb and Suzanne Brach, childhood friends who were inspired by their love of music and their pets. “It was a fun way to express the unique viewpoints of our feline and canine friends through music,” said Webb. Titles like “Splinkity Splankity Spanky” and “Boogie Woogie Beagle” exemplify the humorous tone of the songs.
“Doggy Doo-wop” features 12 original songs written by Webb and Brach and produced and performed by Webb and other Nashville musicians including Grammy-award winner Michael Hopkins, and noted songwriters
Jim Photoglo and Karen Staley.
