Do You Wanna Know My New Dance Step?

Written By: Dean Jones

Do you wanna know my new dancestep?
The Chocolate Rock 4X

Move to your left, move to the right
Do it again, do it all night
Do it all day, any old way
Do what you do what you do what you do
Do you wanna know my new dancestep?
The Chocolate Rock

Do you wanna know my new dancestep?
Scrub the floor 4X

Just drop down on the floor
Turn yourself around
Hey you!! Get that spot over by the door
And make a scrubby sound
Twist your body like a mop
And get up all the spots
This dance is the newest dance
Scrub the floor is HOT!

Do you wanna know my new dancestep?
Scrub the floor

Break it down

Do you wanna know my new dancestep?
Herky jerk 4X

Beautiful World

Written By: Dean Jones

We’re on a mission in this beautiful world
Beautiful world, beautiful world
God goes clamming and brings up a pearl
Beautiful world, beautiful world

We’re on a mission in this beautiful world
Beautiful world, beautiful world
God goes clamming and brings up a pearl
Beautiful world, beautiful world

All you little babies from the infinite stars
Come down and look around
Tiny, tiny raindrops in every cloud
A snail, a whale

The question’s a riddle and the answer is nigh
Beautiful world, beautiful world
What letter’s better than the quizzical “Y”
Beautiful world, beautiful world

All you little babies from the infinite stars
Come down and look around
Tiny, tiny raindrops in every cloud
A snail, a whale

Crawl to Your Mother

Written By: Dean Jones

Everybody crawl to your mother
And tell her you love her
Everybody crawl to your mother
And tell her you love her
Every mother deserves some loving

Every brother crawl to your sister
And tell her you missed her
Every sister crawl to your brother
If you have a brother
Come on siblings, stop all your quibbling
And crawl to your mother

All through the ages (all through the ages)
No matter what changes (no matter what changes)
You wouldn’t be here without your mom

We all come from one (we all come from one)
She made you someone (she made you a someone)
Just give it your all and do the crawl

Everybody crawl to your mother
And tell her you love her
Everybody crawl to your mother
And tell her you love her
Every mother is somebody’s baby as well as your mother

The Moon Song

Written By: Dean Jones

Watch the waxing and the waning of the moon
It’s something you can count on
You can count your days on this earth
by the number of full moons

Feel the waning and the waxing of your moods
Every day has its ups and its downs
I can tell you that the moon does its part
To tug tug tuggity tug at your heart

Forces greater than math control us
We’re swimming in a cosamic bath, don’t you know it
Answers are a dime a dozen
So what’s the use in fussing cousin?

Love, and let the love surround you
Moon, and let the moon confound you
A question’s a question’s a koan you see
Ask yourself eventually

New moon/ sliver moon/ banana moon/ honeymoon
Half moon/ half pike/ moonlight in Vermont
A 100% howling full wolf moon
A moonage daydream/ on the dark side of the moon
Big ol’ luna moth get up its gumption to
Fly me to the moon

Ridin' on a Pony

Written By: Dean Jones

Ridin’ on a pony little Abigail
Ridin’ on a pony little Abigail
Abigail, Abigail
Ridin’ on a pony little Abigail
Ridin’ on a snail goin’ underground
Ridin’ in a buggy cantankerous
Ridin’ on a watermelon bumblebee
Uh huh, step on a crack
One step back, have a SPAZ attack
T-R-O-U-B-L-E spells F-U-E-N
FUN!!!
Tryin’ a get the cat out a paper bag
(hocket)
green
little
worm
little
chain
chicken
food
peckin’
Got me in the eye with a fiddle bow
Ridin’ on a pony little Abigail

Grow Little Flower

Written By: Dean Jones

You grow little flower, you grow so flowerly
Little beetle, you be so beetley
Drop rain drop, do what you do
If you drop on me, I promise I’ll absorb you

High up in the clouds, the sky so heavenly
Happenstance is the way it was meant to be
Little babies floatin’ all around
Waitin’ for the right time to come on down

Hello little apple, you taste so appley
You dropped from the tree so happily
The seeds inside each have their own minds
They’re tryin’ and tryin’ and tryin’ and tryin’ and tryin’

I hopped a train and I rode it fast
Ungulates starin’ up at me all aghast
Fee-fi-fo baby, fee-fi-fum
Oh man, it made my brain go numb

Well I heard the call and I followed some sheep
Time makes you round and space makes you deep
Half a million ewes can’t be wrong
That’s why I’m singing this song (2X)

You wiggle little wormy, you worm so wiggly
Low end of the food chain, unfortunately
Go robin, bring a worm to your babies
They’re peepin’ so babily

You grow little flower, you grow so flowerly
Little beetle, you be so beetley
oh baby you sing so songily
Next time round, sing it along with me
