Dolar Dee is one of the rising stars to look out for from the shores of the U.K music scene.
The 29 year old street smart business man hails from the grimey side of south london.
"I grew up in stockwell, south london just like any other ghetto or projects as they would say in states. It was real rough with crime, hard to trust anyone who came from my town.
Destined for stardom, Dolar Dee started rapping at the tender age of 9. Intrigued by the edgy sample driven sounds of N.W.A and ICE T to the energetic up tempo M.C Hammer and Bobby Brown Dolar Dee couldn't help but be inspired and drawn towards a ball point pen and paper to put together his own master pieces.

In 1995 Dolar Dee became more acquainted with the art form of Hip Hop music, being further influenced by the Biggie and Tupac era. He began writing his own songs, but never neglecting his education Dolar Dee kept his head in his books.
"One of my closest freinds had an idea to create a duo called Rapamatiks....we all just started rhyming on instrumentals like WU-TANG's "C.R.E.A.M" and Method Man's "Bring the pain" infact looking back we were the first to do what we know now call mixtapes.
Expect big things from Dolar Dee in the near future he has a mixtape/album "MY TIME" ready to drop in the next couple of months.
