Growing up in the Mid-West Darius Dolly better known as Dolly born in Chicago Illinois always believed in chasing his dreams. Growing up with a rough childhood he would often turn to music as a get away from all the hardship and pain being raised by a single mother, He explains "Music has always been apart of my life, it jus took me a while to step out of my shell an blossom to the artist I am today. I remember rapping every song word for word on the radio. It wasn't until I graduated high school that i decided to take It to the next level."
Quickly after making his first song he began to get alot of positive feedback from Close friends and music junkies all over, But after seeing his mother's reaction that's when he knew that this was something he wanted to pursue. Listening to such artist as Bob Marley, KRS One, Notorious B.I.G, Tupac, Mos Def & Jay-Z Influenced Dolly to be original an genuine to the art of Hip-Hop. After the release of his 3rd mixtape "Chapter 3 The Arrival" and opening for major acts such as Y.G, T-pain, Chris Brown and 112 it's only a matter of time before the labels come calling. Currently finishing up his debut album entitled "The New Gospel" set to drop on June 6th! As The Name Dolly grows He continues to stand out with his wittiness & originality as an artist with major level talent And major label sound.
