"Dolly Shot: a new taste of Rock Electro-funk"

It’s been almost 3 years since this multi-national project, Dolly Shot, was conceived. Due to different factors the members were spread all over the world, but this didn’t deter them from making music.

They actually managed to produce, mix and release 4 productions, available on ITunes and making sells worldwide.

Guillermo Subauste (drums/bg vocals), Eduardo Rebagliati (guitar/vocals) and Christian Rebagliati (bass) are the main ingredients of this ensemble. Coming from Peru was a big change, but after tasting success back in that beautiful country, they are ready to rock Toronto’s scene.

‘Apparent Flatness’, their last production, is a perfect example of how the years have been grateful with them. The songs range from a fresh new funk to some alternative rock sounds and electronic music that will make it impossible for anyone to not dance and enjoy their music.

After all, isn’t that what music is all about? - Toronto Exclusive Magazine

Bio

Dolly shot is a multinational project which is the result of years of experimenting with different sounds and ambiances, recording remotely across hemispheres.

The project started out in Lima, Peru, where Eduardo Rebagliati (Vocals/Guitar), Christian Rebagliati (Bass) and Guillermo Subauste (Drums/BG Vocals) decided to take their music ambition to a new, more professional level.

After playing extensively around Peru, performing in College and Universities, as well as venues for over 1000 people, being the opening act for MXPX on their South American Tour and releasing 2 studio recordings that received great reviews from the media, the band went into a gigging hiatus, since Guillermo went to Banff, AB for an internship.
That’s when the band decided it would be ideal to make Canada their new home base.

Now, 3 years later and with 4 productions released in this time (the latest one being released on January 1st, 2011), the band is ready to start this new phase, with new backup musicians (a keyboard/synth player and another guitar player) in which they will start an aggressive marketing campaign all over Toronto and Canada.

They have recently won the “Trek For Teens” Battle of The Bands and will be performing at their fundraiser at Dundas Square, along with other concerts to be announced in Toronto and Ontario.

Their style could be defined as a mixture of Alternative, Rock, Funk, Soul, Punk, Pop and more which turned out to be a fresh and new sound to Toronto’s Scene.
