"Dolores Dagenais on East Coast Radio"

Dagenais' powerful yet soft vocals and insightful lyrics make for an impressive listen after going through her back catalogue.
It seems she is leaning a little more on the acoustic blues side in some of her new material, something these ears could stand to hear a little more of.

Dolores is playing a steady stream of dates through the summer...if you see her on a bill, check her out.
It'll leave you wanting more.

- Carlton Munroe (East Coast Road Trip, CKEC Radio New Glasgow)

"Dol's back catalog..."

the more you delve into her impressive back catalog, the more you realize how truly special she really is. She is an inspired song writer who captivates with deeply personal and emotional songs which just seem to connect."
Stoo Nicol (DJ AFC Radio), AFC RADIO (Feb 01, 2009 - Stoo Nicol (DJ AFC Radio), AFC RADIO

"Sweet"

Dolores’s voice is sweet, whether effectively being bluesy or traditional folk... ...she sings from the heart with full and emotive knowledge. as prolific as she is...the quality of her writing doesn’t falter." - Robert Barry Francos, FFanzeen

Bio

Dolores is just finished releasing her fifth album "Big Girl Art" an eclectic blend of folk, county, pop and jazz sounds. Brilliantly produced by David Partridge (Postcard Comets) and featuring the talents of Robert "Buck" Wilburn on lead and steel guitars. A guest appearance by Larry Rice enriches the track "Daisy on the Roof" with hot fiddle licks. that are sure to get the toes tapping. The songs are signature pieces in Dolores' repertoire. From the funny to the sentimental, irreverent to the down right obscene, this is some of her best writing to date. The album and subsequent tour is slated for the spring and summer of 2010.
