Bio
After more than 27 years playing music and performing, from classical piano to rock as well as film-music, introduced to the piano by his great-aunt Germaine Del Signore, Maria Callas teacher, and his great-uncle Gino Del Signor, opera singer (Carmen, La Tosca, La Traviata, Tristan & Iseult, …), DOM has been songwriter for many artists and bands (One For The Road, Ray Driscoll, Madras Express, Psitacism, Irish rose, Faber, United Fruit Company, …).
Today DOM draws inspiration from his multiple experiences and gives us a wide variety of emotions. From intimacy to spontaneous and visceral reactions, DOM shows with a right distance his unique irony.
Always delivering the right amount of cynism, baseing himself on ‘slice of life’ stories, DOM catches us with crafted arrangement in the vein of the greatests like eff Buckley, the Foo Fighters or even The Police.
Obviously flirting more with rock attitude, this debut album mixes with success ethereal and dissonant guitars, intimate and powerful vocals, catchy melodies and choruses : DOM’s universe reveals itself song after song as an exciting moving picture, welcoming, disturbing and complex. A great sweet and sour experience.
Once again, DOM co-writes some of his songs with american and canadian songwriters met through his virtual songwriters network.
Prestigious names …
Obvious followup to his « Poisoned » EP, after a graduation at the Complete Vocal Institute (Copenhagen et Utrecht) during 2009, DOM chose to work with Gerorge Marino (Jeff Buckley, AC/DC, Guns & Roses, Aerosmith) from Sterling Sound in New York and Christophe Duc (Kerozen Prod) in Geneva to help him craft a compact and powerful sound !
