Bio
Do Mar (which means "from the ocean" in portuguese) is a result of a group of eclectic musicians coming together to create melody-led alternative music.
Members of the band come from 4 different nations and with varying backgrounds in music, bringing with them a range of influences - from Samba to punk rock.
Do Mar's music can be described as a mix of alternative rock and elements of funk. The band has been around for a couple years now, and has played successful shows at a number of venues including Lee's Palace, Hard Rock Cafe, Velvet Underground, El Mocambo, Rancho Relaxo, etc.
