“Watching her live performances bears this self-declared love of pop out — the new songs are definitely catchy, though never cheesy, and they have the hallmark of all the best pop, which is that they make you want to listen to them again, right away if possible.” - philstar.com
“An unapologetic lover of pop music, (Domino) writes and performs immensely addictive songs shot through with her own intelligent and alluring idiosyncrasies — music that might very well make you rethink your concept of OPM (original Pilipino music).” - Preview Magazine
“An album such as this ("Mantis") is memorable not just for Lally Buendia’s lilting voice, but also for the musical associations the record evokes: from ’90s electronic pop to alt-jazz.” - Vandals On The Wall
