Bio

t is rare to see the beginnings of a movement, yet looking around at the audience when Dom Liberati leaves a stage, it is clear to everyone that they experienced something great. You can feel the energy and anticipation for more of his music, Liberati has no problem leaving fans wanting more…his ex-quarterback good looks and small town charm added to the mix make it impossible for Dom to leave without an encore. The much-anticipated album, The Good Hurt is practically demanded now by Dom Liberati’s fans and the LA community. So as the finishing touches of the album are taking place, let me introduce you to Dom Liberati.

A musician since age 12, Liberati got the break of a lifetime in 2009 when Activision chose to use his song “Love Holds it Down” for their massively successful Guitar Hero games. Since the success of this single, you can find Liberati frequently playing legendary venues of Hollywood including The House of Blues and Whisky A Go-Go. While the uniqueness of a bassist/front man can be a challenge, Dom Liberati effortlessly grabs your attention. His seasoned stage presence is owed to Liberati’s background as a touring and session bassist since he was 16. His band also showcases Tony Solis on guitar, whose previous credits includes playing with Don Henley and John Legend; and on drums B.C. Taylor, Liberati’s cousin, has an unrivaled history of playing with Dom. The combination of history and talent that makes up this trio provides for a performance you’ll be replaying in your head for days. Whether you met Dom Liberati from Guitar Hero or his live shows, you’ll be pleased to hear you can find him on tour this fall promoting his upcoming album, The Good Hurt.

Liberati’s sound pays homage to his influences blending The Police with Jimmy Eat World and Kings of Leon. The jam band spirit heard live takes it to another level; you may even be lucky enough to witness collaborations with national recording artists The Daylights. Liberati’s lyrics will have you reminiscing past loves and exploring the journey of self-awareness. Liberati’s new collaborations include the golden touch of producer Michael Linney (credits: Toby Mac, Michael W. Smith, Ke$ha) The Good Hurt is Liberati’s way of showing the world that he is here to stay, so world get ready to listen.
