"BEDFORD ESQUIRES November 22, 2008"

As far as the crowd is concerned, returning hero Don Broco is undeniably the people’s champion.

There’s a chunk of the audience that are here for the Bedford quartet and no one else. From beginning to end every set of eyes is fixed on the stage. The band serves up an impressive performance, a heady concoction two parts pop-rock, one part funk and one part balls-out riffing metal. It’s all delivered with such proficiency that you’d be wrong to think this is just a biased crowd carrying the band. This is good stuff indeed. - DTAMUSIC.co.uk

"NOTTINGHAM JUNKTION 7"

There aren't many bands around at the moment who you can rely on to perform not one weak song in their set. Don Broco are that rare breed and they simply outstand Junktion 7. The headrush of Danny Boy; the gargantuanly riffed yet monstrously melodic Whatcha Gonna Do; and the eerie Thug Workout, with its crushing, drum-a-go-go ending, are all highlights. The crowd is left wondering how on earth Xmas lights can possibly go one better. - Nottingham University Band Society

Bio

Formed in Bedford in 2005, the band combined and developed their varied musical interests to create a sound that delivers both ear pleasing catchiness and a healthy dose of brutality.

The boys have played a number of gigs across the UK alongside a range of notable acts including Enter Shikari, Sonic Boom Six, Kids in Glass Houses, Fei Comodo, Saving Aimee, Dissolved In, Fell Silent, Koopa, Breed 77, Mendeed and Days of Worth.

The bands most recent activity has seen them book and complete an 18 date UK tour which looks set to be replicated in early 2009. In addition to such the band are due to record the follow-up to their debut E.P. at Stakeout studios in January with Jason Wilcock (Fightstar, We Are The Ocean, Blakfish.)
