Done Deal is a new rock/rap band from Austin Texas, with a unique sound and story on how the band was originally formed from craigslist. Done Deal combines excellent heavy guitar work, hip hop, and a bit of punk to create a sound that will knock your speakers over and makes you bob your head and want to see them live again and again. Done Deal is from Austin, Texas. Each member brings from different backgrounds different influence from metal to rap to the table which is what makes this band and their music very unique. Done Deal was formed April 2009, followed by several set-backs they have proven they have determination, drive, adrenaline and what it takes to be a power house rock band in the industry. Influences range from Heavy Metal to Blues to Hip-Hop, this new EP (produced by Reese Perkins) is sure to Rock Hip-Hop history. The band has already felt success as soon as the band hit the stage for the first time it was clear that Done Deal was going to be around for a long time. The first out of state was the one people music festival in Hempstead Florida in front of a few thousand people and had the whole crowd jumping up and down to the hit I Rock Hip Hop. Right then the band knew they were on to something. Done Deal has done numerous shows together and has one hell of a stage presence, Luckie, the lead vocalist, is very demanding of the crowds participation “If the crowd is not into what you are doing then what are you wasting your time for” says Luckie. Done Deal was nominated for best group of the year at the Austin Hip Hop awards on 2009. The band is currently in the studio working on their debut album 'A New Breed' with standout tracks like “I Rock Hip Hop” “Like This” and “In The Building”.
Done Deal can count on loads of future success. In the beginning of 2009 he assembled a band from craigslist and start to get noticed instantly opening up for the likes of Lil Flip, Z-Ro, Tum-Tum, Chamillionaire, Slim Thug, David Banner, Bun-B, Trae, Paul Wall, Lil Boosie and many others, soon after started going on the road to play at the 10th annual 'One People Music Festival' in Homestead, Florida and all around Texas. Inspiration for the band's music comes from many different genres of music and different artists such as Eminem, Limp Bizkit, System of a Down, Korn, In Flames, Explosions in the Sky, Linkin Park, Opeth, and so on and so on. This is a band that doesn’t care what people think, they are going to be themselves no matter what and everyone best believe that DONE DEAL IS HERE TO STAY Until the end of time!... and that a promise!........
