I am an R&B/Soul recording artist, singer, songwriter and musician based out of the San Francisco Bay area. My style and music influences derive from Prince to Babyface and Stevie Wonder to Roger Troutman among others. I play guitar and keyboards and write, sing and perform songs nationally.


Donnell Dantzler is a multi-talented singer, songwriter and musician who produces a smooth blend of R&B and Soul music with an infusion of contemporary jazz and hip-hop, displaying that he is truly a new artist on the rise.

A native of Kansas City, Donnell has opened for several chart topping artists including, Chico DeBarge, Howard Hewett, Deniece Williams and the Legenday Temptations among others. He has also composed and performed "live" nationally for notable music events and clients including the UNCF Evening of Stars, AT&T corporation and the National Cancer foundation among many others.

Donnell also did an NBC TV spotlight of his success single, "I Wanna Thank You, Momma" as a special Mother's Day tribute.

Dantzler has displayed exceptional musical talents and songwriting skill that captures the essence love, life and lessons since early in life. His love for music drew him to several instruments where he became proficient at playing by ear and reading.

Donnell's musical influences include recording artists Roger Troutman, Prince, Brian McKnight, Babyface and Stevie Wonder to mold into his own brand of R&B/Soul music.

Though influenced by these artists, Donnell has developed a unique style all his own, blending smooth R&B and soul grooves about love and life.

Dantzler recently released his latest project, Life Is Good", available on CD Baby and iTunes music.
The CD single consists of 2 new tracks from the upcoming "Life Is Good". His previous release, "Show Me Love" was released in 2003 introducing many to his surprising blend of smooth vocals and enticing grooves about love and life.
