Bio
Drumming since the age of 5, Donnie's playing has taken him across the U.S., Canada, South America and the U.K. His style has been described as aggressive, machine-like and inspirational. He has performed / instructed in a number of Drum and Bugle Corps, Marching Bands and Percussion Ensembles.
Drumcorp Experience: Rochester Patriots Jr. Drum and Bugle Corp, Northmen Rochester, N.Y., Rochester Crusaders Sr. Drum and Bugle Corp, 4 time D.C.A. World Champion Empire Statesmen, Dutch Boy Kitchner Ont. Canada, Cadence (the marching drum line).
Drum Corp Achievements: D.C.A. I and E: tenor champion '91, '96, '97 and '98, Percussion Duet '92, '93, '95, '96 and '97.
Marching Bands: Eastridge H.S., Aquinas H.S., Hilton H.S. and Naples H.S.
Donnie has also played in a number of bands of various styles including:
Junction Five (alternative rock), Nik and the Nice Guys (touring party / cover band), Phantom Funk (funk), King Binjj (funk), Hypnotic Clambake (cajun / klezmer / zydeco), Julie Dunlap and the Intruders (modern country), Fever the Wrath of Polyester (disco / funk), The Dish Doggies (electronica), The Drum Machine (see above) and 137 (alternative metal).
