I can still hear the " Wabash Cannonball " by Roy Acuff on the Grand Ole Opry. on Friday and saturday night, We never missed a weekend.
I guess i was about 4 years old , i still hear Hank Williams, " Your Cheating Heart." Johnny Cash, " Give My Love To Rose.", Hank Locklin,
" Stone Wall Jackson.", Little Jimmy Dickins, " Out Behind The Barn ", George Jones, " White Lightning ",. my dad was in radio in south missouri, and played guitar and sing.
I got my first guitar at 6 years old from my dad, it belonged to his mother . My mother showed me my first cords, not long i was playing
" Wild Wood Flower " . Singing North To Alaska, then later Elves songs, " Blue Swade Shoes ", and more. Then Waylon Jennings and
Willie Nelson and Tom Paul Glaser, the Beatles and Rolling Stones, But Country music was my place and when i perform it and sang theres a complete satisfaction runs through my soul. all of this music i love, it rans deep, I hope you enjoy it for this is my hearts and soul....
