2007's Dopesnake, the group went with mostly original compositions, as well as a few covers that feature special guests -- Tracii Guns, Mick Taylor, Pat Travers, and even a former member of G N' R, Gilby Clarke. Expectedly, the originals sound very reminiscent of early Guns N' Roses -- especially "My Deceit," "Come Down," "Hell Yeah!" -- while the covers (Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak," UFO's "Lights Out," etc.) keep the rock & roll party moving along. With the chances of an original Guns N' Roses reunion looking increasingly slim anytime soon, Dopesnake is certainly an entertaining alternative. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide - Answers.com

featuring members of Hollywood Roses, Faster Pussycat, The Dwarves, The Throbs and Motochrist (to only name a few), someone gave these boys too much whisky, too many chemicals, and long crazy nights. The result was the rock n roll chaos called
DOPESNAKE

How did DOPESNAKE begin?
"Dopesnake began when I got together w/ Danny Nordahl (The Throbs, Faster Pussycat, MotoChrist) and we just started gelling. He came up with the riff for “Hell Yeah!” (The 1st song on the record) and we just kept on going…the motto of that album was “What would Iggy (Pop) do”? It was supposed to be a “Hollywood Roses” original record, but “Dopesnake” became its own animal" - Colby Veil -Lead Vocalist
