Hey Everyone, my name is Doreen De Vore and I have been singing and dancing since I was a child, I can't remember a time I wasn't moving around the floor or entertaining whatever audience was in front of me. It's a true passion of mine and I plan to keep going with it. The music that I have put up for now is my newer material and I happened to of improved "where is my Love" right off the top of my head after years of not being in a studio. I swear this song titled "Where is My Love" was a gift from a higher power, this song is very special to me and I'll explain the reasons why... Sometimes you just never know what you have lost until your "GIFT" is gone!!! But truly, I owe it to one of the best producers I ever had the chance to work with. Jason Turner has an ear and plays piano like I have never heard. The lyrics just came through to me as if whatever Jason was feeling I was interpreting with words of his and my emotion. Thank You Jason for bringing the best out of me and making me feel what I was singing!!! That's a gift all in itself!! I stopped singing for awhile because I hemorrhaged a vocal chord a few years back. Singing definitely wasn't easy for me anymore, so I had put it on the back burner. I didn't have the medical I needed to fix it so I struggled trying to hit high notes that were no longer an option for me. Complete BUMMER, with that being said I had found an amazing vocal chord surgeon at the end of 2008. Many thanks to Dr Lucian Sulica NYC, it took only one week before I could speak again and many months of rehabilitating my higher register, I can gladly say I can sing high notes again and hit that Falsetto like never before. The best feeling ever!!! I wrote all my lyrics and love expressing in a artistic way. I was going through a lot of changes then and if you really listen to the lyrics I promise you... you will feel them and maybe relate to them. I am still singing, writing, dancing and hoping I will be recognized one day as an artist who writes and relates to real life experiences and that my lyrics can help and heal people especially woman and young girls around the world!!!
