A NOTE FROM WENDY OF “DOROTHY’S WINDOW”

Ideally, the perfect music partner is someone you have a lot in common with, especially the things that are really important to you; PRIORITIES, such as love, family, humor, etc. But, I think Damon and I have a rock solid foundation in our love for "Star Wars." The FORCE was definitely with us since the beginning. I’m just kidding, but it really has bonded us!

Here’s a random question for you. Have you ever seen the ocean meet the shore? It’s a big wave that builds up before it crashes to the floor and finds peace. That’s how it felt the first time I met Damon. Our worlds came together and it’s been a natural fit ever since.

The relationship between Damon and I started with a break-up song, believe it or not. It was a song I wrote called “Lovin’ You Lyin’ Down.” Doesn’t sound like a break-up song, right? Well, wait until you hear it! Damon’s brilliance really showed me that partnering up with him was the best thing that ever happened to those lyrics. Well, not just my lyrics but my personal life as well. He’s an amazing person and songwriter who continues to impress me every time I’m with him. I can’t help but be inspired and pour myself into new songs.

Our love for music ultimately creates an instant connection. We have a growing chemistry that is easily seen to anyone who has the gift of sight. I see our strong connection as a gift. It has given me confidence to experiment with lyrics and melodies. I always find myself trying hard to impress him with my lyrics. I think I do this because I want him to think I’m cool. HA HA… seriously though.

We hope that our music is something you can listen to and relate with. What we sing and write about is ultimately sincere. We are just two people who have a lot to say and want to say it in our lifetime.
