Dorzt is high voltage high energy with a repertoire of songs that are created and characterised by intense feelings of human experience and the deep rich fundamentals of life.
Dorzt’s music takes you by the throat and never loses grip . . . . .see them live and you are captivated and just want more . . . . . . Dorzt is musical talent with special and surprising music . . . . . a band that interacts with it’s audience always to inspire and thrill.
Dorzt is maturity and experience . . . . a band of musicians active in the music scene for more than 25 years. A closely knit group of friends wanted to create real Dutch-language rock music and thus began the birth of Dorzt in 2002. Their Inspiration was the music of ‘Herman Brood and His Wild Romance’, music that shaped them, got into their blood and became part of their musical genes. Their lyrics are consciously and always written in Dutch because they believe the only way to express one’s true feelings is in one’s mother tongue. Thus DORZT was born. It stands for one’s country, one’s language, one’s roots, one’s life, one’s music. Dorzt is music with an unmistakable raw pure ‘straight from the heart’ character . . . . . in all their songs and everything they do.
