DOSHA

Dosha-Front And Center- Dosha based in Vancouver, BC is a female vocalist/lyricist/musician/producer of music. Backed by many in the past -these days her performances have morphed into DJ and minimalistic accompaniment fused with jaaazzzzy vocal stylings and a focus on organic songwriting. Dosha is currently working on her "Lightbringer" album/remixes with fellow collaborators. Dosha believes music acts as a universal bond between others-"People have been singing about the same things for years but it is our job as creators,producers, and musical manipulators to deliver those messages in our own unique ways so we can mix it all up!"
Dosha's sound is a comfortable mix of guitars and keys as a base, adding interesting production to the song structures for an electronic element. Dosha played the Soundwave electronic music festival in July 2007 with great reception. The electronic element allows Dosha to be versatile enough to contribute to both the pop/ and electronic genres. Dosha records and produces much of her own music, has a core group of people that she works with regularly in Vancouver, Toronto, and Alberta and is fortunate enough to have guest players that enrich each performance. Dosha is planning on a 2008 summer release titled "lightbringer".
