Rapping since he was knee high to a grass hopper, Doski Wo had an early aspiration to hold a mic in his hand. The attraction was as diverse as his rhyming skills. Not only did the lifestyle draw him to it, the substance, the messages woven between the tracks that made you dance attracted him as well. Doski Wo has an innate ability to take rhyme to the next level.
First touching the stage seven years ago, Doski Wo?s experience only confirmed the destiny he saw for himself. Opening for Pastor Troy and Ludacris, Doski Wo had the crowd after spitting his first few bars. Doski Wo?s lyrics evolved from being used to impress girls and popularity to impressing industry insiders and recruiting fans.
Doski Wo is influenced by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, LL Cool J, Outkast, Goodie Mob, Prince, Run DMC, The Allman Brothers, George Clinton, Bob Marley and Bob Dlyan.
Doski is a blend of rap, hip hop,neo soul, blues, and damn near whatever else you want. The box doesn't exist. He wants to reach all demographics. His sound is familiar, and hasn't been heard in a while..but it's back.
