Dossi on the Rocks

Dossi on the Rocks is a three piece rockin’ blues band from Sonora California. The band consists of Dave Anthony, Bass (28, Sonora CA) Justin Waters, Drums (27, Soulsbyville CA) and Guy Dossi, guitar and lead vocals (22, Tuolumne CA) is the future of blues and rock&roll. The band is extremely tight and well polished, and put out as much power and energy in the first song of the night as they do on the last song of the evening. Dossi leads the band, with his powerful blues-rock guitar playing, swampy blues voice, and Chicago sounding harmonica playing. For being only 21, Dossi can play the guitar as if he’s been doing it for 25 years. The constant driving power of the band is the rhythm section with Anthony and Waters. Waters is becoming one of the best drummers in the area, and Anthony is a steady, constant bass player. “I think the major thing that we have over other bands is our youth. Having a band that is as tight as us, all being under 30 years old is pretty special. I’m absolutely blessed to be with such amazing musicians, with Dave and Justin.
