"Flutes Aren't Just For Doublers:Dotti Anita Taylor, Ali Ryerson and Holly Hoffman/Mike Wofford"

"Taylor's warm tone on her instrument (with judicious use of vibrato in spots) and intuitive improvisations make each of the standards she plays sound fresh. Her driving Latin-flavored arrangement of Rodgers & Hart's "Bewitched, Bothered and
Bewildered and her lush duet with guitarist Dave Tunnell on Thad Jones' "A Child Is Born" stand out.... Perhaps she won't take so long to record a follow up session"

"Dotti Anita Taylor/A Morning Glory"

"Taylor's performance on flute throughout is splendid. She has a marvelous tone and displays excellent use of vibrato....Taylor really swings. In Taylor's solos you get the feeling that every note is carefully chosen... This is a very impressive debut album. I am sure that many would be proud to have these results on their venture into recording. I am already hoping that there will be more releases in the future by this talented flutist and equally competent ensemble members.

"But whatever you think of the flute, you need to think about Ms. Taylor. ...it's a debut filled with a lot of heart. Highly recommended
