Biography

Derrick "D-DUBB" Woodley Jr. is a 25 year old songwriter/producer from Houston, TX. He started as a singer and later moved to rap in order to push his production, but after several shows he decided Hip Hop was the way to go. D-DUBB is a producer at heart. The DUBB stands for Do U Bang Beats which is his motto. His use of strings and hard claps makes his music stand out from others in the industry. His charisma and stage presence combined with his off the wall lyrics makes him one of the best underground Emcees. On September 29, 2009 D-DUBB released his first LP Hip Hop Dreams on iTunes,Rhapsody, Napster, and Limewire. He named it Hip Hop Dreams because he's underground right now so everything he speaks about is like a dream waiting to happen. His next album he put out was a combination of commercial songs about women called XOXO. It was actually the first of his 12 mixtapes he has been releasing in every month in 2011. The songs can be found on www.hotnewhiphop.com/doubangbeats. Currently living in San Marcos, TX, D-DUBB is making new music and performing between Austin and San Antonio.
