Double G Chi was originally a member of C4 in his pre/early teens (C4 was short for Connecticut Four), a group that included Cold Hearts Entertainment’s Own John Blaze . Despite being hearing impaired Chi found that he had a love for music as did his brother MC Lion at an early age. The group had a minor internet hit “Lets Get Gergy”(which had a similar sound to Redman’s “Lets Get Dirty”) , unfortunatly the success was short lived when B2K bought out the rights to the beat they were using for an album track. After several lineup changes the all members except for Chi quit rapping all together for various reasons.Chi continued rapping as a solo MC under several psuedonyms as well as developing skills in producing beats and digital art.
