"A Double Shot To Our Fair"

Double Shot came to our fair looking very nice and they were very nice to everyone. We were very pleased with them and would like to have them back. They handled themselves in a wounderful manner. They both never once said or did anything out of line. If you think about using them for a function, don't think, just get them. They will do what they do best sing and entertain you. Their set up was great they were very perfessional. We wish them both all the luck in the coming year. "Don't change guys! You were wounderful for our fair". All I can say is try these guys out. You'll like them and won't be disappointed. Watch out though, they might even make you laugh. We thank Double Shot for the time they spent with us and hope they had as good a time as we all did.

Gary has recorded six solo CD’s and Jason has recorded three solo CD's. The duo have recorded three CD's together. There are sound clips on our websites as well as here.

Jason Gordon of Armington, IL has received much acclaim for his great baritone wherever he has performed, as well as for his dynamic singing style. His powerful voice has a quality described as "pure and honest country". Jackson Brumley, a promoter and producer from Nashville, TN said Jason's voice is "a powerful mix of George Jones, Vern Gosdin and Alan Jackson". Jason's fans find his voice addictive, once you hear him, you've got to come back for more. He is as comfortable with the music of George Jones, Toby Keith and Alan Jackson as he is with Marty Robbins, Old Hank, and Hank Williams Jr. Jason has opened shows for Kevin Sharp, Trace Adkins, and Joe Diffey and has appeared individually or with the Night Hawk Band at fairs, festivals, oprys, clubs, and dance halls throughout Central Illinois, including The West in Bloomington, Par-a-dice Hotel/Casino in East Peoria, and the Decatur Fall Festival. He has been a guest many times at New Salem Country Opry, Bement Country Opry, Kentuckiana Opry, McLean County Country Opry, Gary Nabor's Country Hoedown, and the Wagon Wheel Opry.

Gary Raye is a native of East Peoria, IL and has performed all over the Midwest at benefits, civic centers, night clubs, hotels, fairs, schools, private clubs, parties, weddings, etc. He has performed with many different bands and toured with the "Tiny Hill Orchestra". Gary is a regular performer at several local nightclubs and has performed at the Par-a-dice Hotel Casino. He has performed for the East Peoria Festival of Lights Parade, performed the National Anthem several times for the Peoria Chiefs and is one of many entertainers who participate in the annual “Yule Like Peoria Yule Walk. Gary has been featured several times on a local television program entitled, Country Music Showcase hosted by Ray King, which has a format similar to the Nashville Now program. Gary has also performed in several Talent Showcases in Branson, Missouri including a national show held at the Thunderbird Theater. In July 2003, he performed at the Star Systems 2003 National Finals held in Myrtle Beach, SC where he won First Place and a High Gold Achievement Award for Senior Vocalists (age 26 and up) and also won Second Place Overall Senior Vocalists (age 13 and up). He also received an Outstanding Overall Performance Award. In March 2004, Gary won the 2004 Horizon Award for Male Entertainer of the Year, Traditional Country at North American Country Music Association International (NACMAI) Awards Competition held in Pigeon Forge, TN. Gary is constantly updating his show by adding material and variety to his vocal styles. He performs many high voice or falsetto songs like such artists as; Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, The Bee Gees, and The Tokens and also does a great Louis Armstrong, Elvis Presley and Neal Diamond impressions amoung others. More times than not, Gary has been accused of lip-syncing when performing.
