Local Blues guitarist Randy Stephens with his band Double Your trouble will be showcasing at The Sports Page bar and Grill in Columbia Tennessee on August 15, 2009 show starts at 8PM. Randy hails from Colorado Springs Colorado and moved to Columbia Tennessee in 2001 with his family nine years ago where he began working at the Saturn plant as a computer operator. Randy Stephens is a runner up winner in the “Jam with Kenny Wayne Shepherd guitar contest” for the song ‘In Too Deep’ year 2000 and is no stranger to the blues.
Double Your Trouble consists of members Randy Stephens Guitar/Vocal, Kevin McBride on drums, and Bill Taylor Bass guitar. Coming up on what will soon be the 20th anniversary of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s death August 27th 1990 Together the band is determined to bring honor to Stevie Ray Vaughan’s musical legacy through the essence of ‘live’ performance.

Bio

Randy Stephens: Guitar/ Vocals
Runner up in the "Jam with Kenny Wayne Shepherd" guitar contest, Randy has played for many cover bands both in permanent positions and sub work including an offer to tour with Eric Burden and the Animals. Randy has been on many studio projects including his own independent work.

Kevin McBride: Drums
Kevin started playing drums in elementary and throughout his high school years where he won awards from the National Achievement academy for music. After school Kevin continued to play in various club bands and theater pits on the west coast. During the mid-90's Kevin was hired by David Frankel who was charted on the adult contemporary market. Kevin has toured regionally and world wide as part of a USO band, Rhonda Lee and Red Velvet, to South Korea, Okinawa ( opening for R&B artist "JOE"), Japan, Singapore, Guam, and the South Pacific. Additional performances include Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Casino circuit, and Nashville's WSM-Grand Ole Opry Radio in addition to continued session work.

Jessie Stephens: Bass Guitar
Jessie is the newest and youngest member of the DYT team. At a mere 21 years old Jessie has been asked to step up to the challenge of SRV's and Double Trouble's music. Jessie starte performing in front of audiences at the age of 13 playing in the the Stephen's family band's Legacy and J-Crew. Jessie being spoiled to play upscale gigs and studio work as well!

Bill Taylor: Bass
Bill hails from the heart of cajun country, Lafayette, Louisiana. He's been playing bass most of his life, starting on upright before moving to electric. Through the years Bill played in several established Louisiana bands and after nearly fourteen years in Nashville, Bill has had the opportunity to play with a number of very talented local musicians. Past performances include The Tennessee Titans stadium and opening for TG Sheppard, Kelly Lang,and Ronnie McDowell
