The fun club banger and catchy hook painted the perfect "Y.O.L.O" image with the help of director "Video God," also known as Gabriel Hart. Now, with buzz surrounding the "Turn It Up" song and his video receiving nearly 13,000 views on YouTube, Doughboy is proving that he is contender getting ready to snatch the number one spot. Rashad Mcgee known in the neighborhood as rapper "Doughboy" was born in a small town in St Louis MO known as Kinloch on December 29TH 1989. As the youngest of two growing up with no real father figure in his life, His mother had to provide for him and his older brother. Rapping was something that Doughboy always took interest in but never pursued. Then around 2005 Doughboys life took a major spin he was attending a local concert for major rap artist "Gucci Mane". While he was in town Doughboy took it as a opportunity to pursue his career as an artist. He made his way back stage by paying security guards, where there he met Gucci Mane. After having a two hour down to earth conversation with the platinum selling artist, doughboy was invited back to the studio. While there Gucci Mane took an interest to Doughboysunique style of rap. He never really took his talent as a rap artist serious until two weeks later he was on tour with Gucci Mane which opened up Doughboys eyes to really see that rapping was his true passion and a alternative outlet for which he has a passion for. In 2012 Doughboy release his debut mixtape "Office Referrals", Teaming up with some of the best producers and artist in St. Louis which established his name as a house hold brand. Doughboy has recently been featured as the "Get In The Game" Artist on Shade45 Radio with MTV's Sway, And also featured unsigned hype of "Karen Civil"  & "Best Of Both Offices" And also Dj Ill Will's "Hot New Hip Hop". He has recently finished a national school tour sponsored by Vatterott college. With his second mixtape & new single "Break Da Knob" out now and downloads skyrocketing everyday 2016 has a lot in store for this new young superstar. Be on the lookout for his new project  set to drop this spring!
