Doug Wahlberg band has been know to wear their 60’s/70’s British rock and
psychedelic influences proudly while still sounding crisp, modern and vital. If
rock and roll is the vehicle, the Doug Wahlberg Band is the fuel!

The Doug Wahlberg Band of Connecticut headlined or opened
for national acts in and around the New York Metropolitan area for the last few
decades.  The list of venues includes The
Ridgefield Playhouse, Ive’s Concert Park, The Taste of Danbury Festival, Foxwoods’s
Casino, Mohegan Sun’s Wolf Den, Toad Place, The Palace Theater, The Fairfield
Theater, The Quick Center for the Arts and The Levitt Pavilion in Connecticut
as well as the Cutting Room, Crash Mansion in New York City. Previously they
have had the honor of performing in some of New York City’s iconic and historic
hot spots as The Great Guildersleeves, Trax , Kenny’s Castaways, The Bitter End,
Ritz, and the one and only CBGB’s.

They can boast sharing the stage with Paul Simon, Blue
Oyster Cult, Foreigner, Lou Gramm, Cheap Trick, Eddie Money, George Thorogood
and the Destroyers, The Guess Who, Rick Derringer, Edgar Winter, Mountain,
Levon Helm, Ian Hunter of Mott the Hoople, David Johanson, John Hammond, Fran
Cosmos of the band Boston and the great Ramones.

Some accomplishments include being nominated for the 2008
New Music Award, recent sponsorship by Anheuser-Busch
, national and international radio success from Doug’s original
“Broken”, and currently have live and recorded airplay on radio’s WRKI (I95)
and WPKN (89.5).

Projects Doug can claim to be a part of involve greats like
Jose Feliciano, Bernie Taupin (Elton’s John’s lyricist), Mick Ronson (David
Bowie’s guitarist and producer), Peter Tosh. and Alice Cooper’s drummer and
recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Neil Smith. In 2014 Doug played six
guitar tracks on Neil’s critically acclaimed album “The Green Fire Empire”.
