With growing local and regional respect, Downcall, a hard rock/metal band from the NW suburbs of Chicago, takes the stage with unrivaled energy and precision. Together since early 2003, the band thrives on their ruthless but technical, live show, void of gimics and straight to the point . The combination of nimble and muscular guitars coupled with pounding bass and grooving drums provide the sonic backdrop for the clear and aggressive vocals that set Downcall apart from their contemporaries. Downcall has created a traditional hard rock/metal sound refined with the influence of new American metal with a focus on musicianship, energy, and power in song writing.
Downcall is preparing for a busy summer schedule of writing, recording, and playing as many shows as possible.
