Downfall of the Mechanism began in the Fall of 2009 in Miami. Before we began this band, we as individuals, have performed at numerous venues in South Florida--including The Clevelander on South Beach, Club Sonar in Hollywood, Vagabond, Churchhills in Downtown Miami, and Los Angeles--making us seasoned vets.
David grew up with R&B, and has only recently begun listening to and playing alternative rock. When he gets behind a guitar and a microphone, the result is a fascinating sound that has you wondering what you're listening to. Matt plays bass, with a heavy funk influence. He has a very aggressive style that would keep people listening for hours. Omar is very unique in the way he uses his keyboard, using out of the ordinary sounds that you wouldn't expect to hear in a rock band.
Downfall of the Mechanism is dedicated to entertaining you CONSTANTLY. They will always make an effort to play you music in ways you've never heard before.
