Amidst the barrage of three chord punk bands that flood the music scene of Southwestern Ontario lies Downflow. Offering people an alternative, a fresh new sound, a high energy rock mix that will win people over everywhere. Like your local convenience store, Downflow has variety, pleasing the ears of listeners.
Downflow is here to please you, bringing to light the positive things in life, using songs about hanging out and partying with your friends, or helping a loved one through a tough time. Downflow puts their own flavour on fast paced punk stylings, off-beat reggae and edgy rock, packing it into one intense new vibe. Opening up for such acts as the Planet Smashers and Mustard Plug has given Downflow the chance to show people what they've got to offer, and leave them wanting more.
Nick Vlasveld is the voice of Downflow, who's inspiring lyrics, emotion and charisma can't be missed. The band also includes Ryan Mahoney on electric and acoustic guitar, Jimmy Ponting on bass and Mike Mahoney on drums. Together they bring a high energy stage performance that you cannot miss. The band hopes to gain major success in the music industry in hopes that one day they will share with the world their one and only passion, music.
