Down For Five is a melodic metal band out of Tulsa, Oklahoma comprised of vocalist Syke Mochek, guitarist Janna Jordan, bassist Scott Squires, and drummer Jester.
Formed in spring of 2002, Down For Five released a four song EP later that fall, which was very well received by local radio stations and fans in general.
The band also released a DVD in December of 2003. The DVD, produced by John Russell of the Tulsa-based band Admiral Twin, includes a ten minute documentary (also known as an EPK) containing interview footage with each band member, three full length videos, and an outtakes section.
Down For Five is currently playing shows in the Tulsa and surrounding region in support of their brand new album "Time Has Come" which was released April 4, 2006 on Sunset Trash Records. Visit www.downforfive.com for more info.
