A shared musical interest and a drive to continue Down Maggie was joined by drummer Jasan Boles, a very talented drummer, and Bob Kirkby, another highly talented musician. The band plays a mixture of rock and roll, alternative rock and originals, blending their talents together to form a wonderfully talented mixture. Musical Influences from the 60's through current artists. Our story is simple, in that we are all very passionate about our music. We enjoy doing fairly obscure covers, crowd pleasing well known numbers, and our originals We spend much of our time working up our original numbers, which our fans enjoy.

Lyrics

Alice

Written By: Tom Riley & John Abeli

Her name was Alice
Not Allison
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
She came to Vegas when she was nineteen
Not a thing she hadn’t seen
Held her head up as she walked by
A glint of wanting looks
From their eyes
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
She left her home at seventeen
Moved cross country just to be free
She had a smile that can steal your heart
A switchblade later she’ll cut you apart
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
Her name was Alice
Not Alisson
Her name was Alice
She’s alright
Alright
Alright now
She was a rebel
Down to the core
Made her a winner
No matter the score
She walked for life
Doing her thing
No man alive would ever give her a ring
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
Her name was Alice
Not Allison
Her name was Alice

Streetlight Dreams

Written By: John Abeli

You’ll never know the way
I dream about you every day
Walkin down the street
Your flannel nightshirt on display
For only me to see the way it ends
A foot above your knees

Every day every night every minute
You swirl around my head
Why does my passion feel so dead
Every day every night every minute
There’s nothing left for me to say
I can’t explain it anyway

Walk under the streetlight
Lo it’s such a lovely sight
Looking all around
Aware of every friendly sign
You smile at the sky
And then you’re gone

Every day every night every minute
I remember what you said
I toss and turn around my bed
Every day every night every minute
There’s nothing left for me to say
I’ll always think this anyway

What’s the matter fool
She took your heart to school
You can push and you can shove
Some else has gotta love
Always talkin trash a pan without a flash
Take a look at the man in the glass

Every day every night every minute
Every day every night every minute
Every day every night every minute
Every day every night every minute, yeah….

You’ll never know the way
I dream about you every day
Walkin down the street
Your flannel nightshirt on display
For only me to see the way it ends
A foot above your knees

You walk under the streetlight
Lo it’s such a lovely sight
Looking all around
Aware of every friendly sign
You smile at the sky
And then you’re gone

Well what’s the matter fool
She took your heart to school
You can push and you can shove
Some else has gotta love
Always talkin trash a pan without a flash
Take a look at the man in the glass

Every day every night every minute
Every day every night every minute
Every day every night every minute
Every day every night every minute, yeah….

Every day every night
Every day every night
Every day every night
Every day every night
Every day every night
Every day every night
Every day every night
Every day (John) Tom ends with every night

(spoken softly)

Well what’s the matter fool
She took your heart to school
You can push and you can shove
Some else has gotta love
Always talkin trash a pan without a flash
Take a look at the man in the glass

Every day every night every minute
Every day every night every minute
Every day every night every minute
Every day every night every minute, yeah….

In Love Again

Written By: John Abeli

You do a silly dance in the parking lot
You don’t much care if you eat or not
Got a really stupid smile upon your face
You’re always starin off in outer space
You try to talk to her but the words don’t come
Your tongues all tied and you sound pretty dumb
You try to regroup as you walk away
But there’s a million things you’ve got to say
You’re in love old buddy
Act your age
You’re much too old and she’s too young
Turn the page
You’re in love old buddy
Let it go
But it’s too late
She’s two feet away
Your clothes don’t fit right
And there’s nothing to say
You’re in love
You do a silly dance in the parking lot
You don’t much care if you eat or not
Got a really stupid smile you can’t erase
You’re always starin' off in outer space
You’re in love old buddy
Act your age
You’re much too old and she’s too young
Turn the page
You’re in love old buddy
Let it go
But it’s too late
She’s two feet away
Your clothes don’t fit right
And there’s nothing to say
All you can do is shake your head and grin
You don’t even know the trouble you’re in
You’re in love old buddy
You’re in love old buddy
You’re in love old buddy
You’re in love
