Take the training of classical music, the freedom and live feel of jazz, and the pure energy of 80's hair metal rock and throw them together. This is close to the feeling created by Doxi. Lead singer/songwriter Drew Fredrickson has a degree in music from the University of Illinois, and each song is written with the care and structure of a symphony. Bassist and Onstage-Firebringer Kai Karlstrom knows virtually any major rock song ever written, and his extremely exciting stage show compliments perfectly the passion of drummer Victor Aguirre. Doxi is not a band to be known by gimmicks, but don't be surprised if you see upside down playing, stick juggling, and people playing on each other's instruments at one of their shows
