"My two biggest musical role models today are Quincy Jones and David Foster." Jones and Foster have written for and produced such talents as Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Chicago, James Ingram, Celine Dion, All 4 One, and many more. They are also responsible for bringing us such film scores as St. Elmos Fire, The Color Purple, and the theme song from Austin Powers movies. "If I can achieve one tenth of the success of those two men, I will have accomplished my goals!" On his road to becoming like his idols, Doyle has received a first place award in the Great American Song Contest in 1999. Doyle has also received an Honorable Mention from the Billboard Song Contest, the Pop category in 1999 & 2004. In just a short period of time Doyle has managed to carve out the beginnings of a promising musical career. It would not surprise this writer to see Doyle, one day, walking across that Grammy stage!

Lyrics

Last Goodbye

Written By: A. Doyle Tipler

Verse 1 -
Yesterday’s tears turn into tomorrow’s songs
Yesterdays rights were really wrong
No matter how hard I try
you keep pushing me away
So I guess I’m giving up now…
well at least today

Verse 2 -
You never listened to my feelings
You only listened to what I said
You never took me seriously
I’m like a book you just read
So I have one simple question
just one thing that I’m after
Is this going to be the end?
Is this the final chapter?

Chorus -
Is this the last goodbye?
Is this the last goodbye?
I don’t know how I’ll survive
Is this the last goodbye?
Is this the last goodbye?
I don’t know how I’ll survive,
if it is the last goodbye

Verse 3 -
Every time I think I’ve caught you
You run a little bit faster
What are you so afraid of?
What is this disaster?
A Goodbye is better written
because it causes me less pain
Even Mother Nature’s umbrella
can’t protect me from her rain

Chorus -

Bridge -
Maybe we can make this last forever
Baby this is worth us fighting for
Maybe we should stay together
I can’t give up now, that’s for sure-

Chorus -

Still Loving You

Written By: A. Doyle Tipler

verse 1
What if I never told you I love you?
What if I never told your kiss?
You se I’ve crossed this bridge too many times
But I can’t get through the door
I told myself I wouldn’t come here, anymore

verse 2
What if I never told you I care?
What if I told you life isn’t fair?
See I’ve crossed this bridge too many times
But I can’t see the other side
I guess its all part of life’s little ride

chorus
Even if I could touch the sky
Even if I could learn to fly
Even if dreams don’t come true
I’ll still be loving you.
What could I do to make you mine?
How can I step across the line?
What could I do to make it true?
Cause I’m still in love with you.

Verse 3
Did I ever hear you say you love me?
Did I ever taste it on your lips?
See I’ve crossed this bridge hundreds of times
And I just’ can’t go on
I never thought that I would be here this long

chorus

bridge
with you on this bridge
I can see the other side.
Down on this bridge me and you

chorus
