Draffin

Draffin, on the surface, is a road against the outskirts of our town. The name on the other hand extends deeper than that. It’s meaning searches through the many memories created along its path by us, our family, friends, fans, and stretches out to complete strangers who may one day hear of us. Draffin is the good times, the warm nights, the passionate smiles and heavy hearts. Draffin is feeling the cool night breeze across your cheeks as your eyes dance among the starry heavens above. Draffin is the bad times, trudging through the rain, wide-eyed and worry for sudden change. It is the essence of being and constant complain, like hands digging pockets for answers. It is the love that’s shared and the love for within. It's the hate that’s unleashed, and the anger within. But most of all, it's us. All of us. The band and the fans, the strangers and neighbors. It’s the world within and the world uncovered. Us.

Forming in August of 2003, Draffin is a hard rock band hailing from Rochester, NY. Over the course of the last three years, the group has built up their diverse sound from scratch, refusing to conform to the latest trends and fads. After much hard work in both the studio and out on stage, Draffin has established themselves as a fresh and original band among the Rochester music scene. Incorporating many different forms and styles into their music, the band is not confined to any one musical genre or sound. Instead, Draffin is an eclectic form of rock, metal, punk, and alternative unlike any other, creating something new and exciting for listeners of all sorts.
