Dragon of Wortley

After a hiatus I am returning to the world of the festival performer. Until 2001 I performed Scottish Music throughout the US and into the UK. The events of that year prompted me to go back into public service until 2018 when I officially retired. Starting in 2019 I will be booking myself as “the Dragon of Wortley” for Renaissance Fairs and similar events in the US. I am based in Portland Maine with in driving distance of many events but will travel as far as I need to bring my music to your patrons. Lodging is always appreciated.

I perform singing solo with my small guitar then alternating with bagpipes (small and GHB). My studio album ‘Silver in the Coffer’ is due for release in April and will be available from me, CD Baby, Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music, and dozens of the most popular download and streaming sites. I am registered with Gracenote, one of the most widely recognized online music databases.

Past performances have taken me from Presque Isle, Maine to Sebring, Florida and Tulsa, Oklahoma to Edinburgh, Scotland. I would love to talk to you about performing at your event.
