Album 1 – “The Dragon Tier”

A collection of 12 Blues and Rock influenced songs featuring
the group’s first song together “Gumboot Blues”.

Album 2 – “Whispers On The Breeze”

A second album of Blues and Rock’n Roll with added influence
of songs like “Whispers on the Breeze” and “Free The World”.

Album 3 – “Liberty Star”

The success of their second album pushed Dragon Tier to
improve and tighten their sound. Liberty Star is Dragon Tier opening up into
their true sound and focus. The album includes a selection of blues and rock’n
roll and instrumentals.

Album  –
“Transpacifica”

“Driving to Deniliquin” is the lead song of this great album,
which is amply supported by  “Excuse Me
Madam Diva”, “Settle Petal” and “Get Unplugged”. The more bluesy and laid-back
songs like “Whiskey Blues”, “Velvety Lizard” and “Pray For Rain” complement
these higher impact songs.

"Dragon Tier packs a blues punch, mixed with rock and
reggae to make for a surreal sonic explosion."

Dragons Tier’s musical excitement is driven by long-term multi-instrumentalist
Gerard, and the more recently evolved multi-instrumentalist Toni. The duo’s
musical energy and passion for song writing is dominant in their songs.

This duo becomes a trio with the inclusion of long-term song
writing compadre and multi-instrumentalist, Adrian. The three have written a
prolific amount of music covering many genres but influenced by Blues, Rock and
Reggae.

Dragon Tier has developed their sound. This sound is built
upon a strong Bass and Drums backend. Along with this is the extensive use of
Electric Guitar hooks, Keyboards and at time Electric Ukes. The results are high-energy
songs like “Hioctane”, “Excuse Me Madam Diva”, “Get Unplugged” and “Amp It Up”
down to the more bluesy feeling songs of “Whiskey Blues”, “Pray For Rain” and
“Whisper On The Breeze”.

“Alive”, “Whispering”, “Time” and “Velvety Lizard” add an
instrumental appeal to Dragon Tiers song line up.

Dragon Tier plays all instruments on their recordings. Toni
usually covers Vocals, Guitar, Drums and Electric Uke. Gerard covers Keyboards,
Guitar, Bass, Woodwind and Vocals. Adrian completes the set with Vocals, Guitar
and Electric Uke.

Gerard Hackwill

Gerard picked his first guitar up at the age of 4, and in
some ways has never looked back. As a child he studied piano, guitar and
clarinet and went onto to study at prestigious musical conservatorium. He left
music for a very successful career in computering, but in his mid 40’s found
music again and progressed back into a musical focussed life style.

He now is one of the driving members of Dragon Tier. With
his strong classical training he supplies the bulk of the arranging for Dragon
Tier’s songs, and predominantly plays the Guitar, Bass and Keyboards.

Toni Hackwill

In her mid 40’s, Toni found a neat little instrument called
a Uke, an instrument that both inspired and propelled her musical career. After
a dominant period of leading and running one of the largest Community Music Groups
in Sydney, Toni branched out and started Dragon Tier. It was a move to write
and play her own songs.

Today Toni is a passionate songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
She plays Guitar, Drums, Electric Uke and Vocals.

Adrian Coombes

Adrian started in a band during his army days, as the lead
singer. He left this behind as life went on, until a 5-year stint in Sydney
Australia, where he was heavily involved with one of the largest Community Music
Groups. Adrian’s love and enthusiasm for music saw him join Dragon Tier. Adrian
saw Dragon Tier as an avenue for him to write, play and record his own music.

Adrian has now evolved and expanded his musical knowledge to
include Guitar, Vocals and Electric Uke along with a passion for song writing.
