Bio

DramaFiend is built on the sonic landscapes of Garbage No Doubt, and Hole adding a decadent sense of attitude to their accessible punk pop songcraft. DramaFiend is the brainchild of bassist/producer Lance V. and drummer/producer Robbi Black. Initially housed in Lance's rehearsal lockout turned recording studio, DramaFiend was an informal pro tools project used to demo their ideas of mixing such diverse genres as pop, punk, goth and industrial. Eventually falling in love with the songs and the way they were coming together, they recruited vocalist extrodanaire Tiffany Kyees, who previously collaborated with Lance on her solo material which landed on NBC's prime time hit show"Providence" and in TransContinental's Feature Film "Longshot"

With the success of the collaboration on Tiffany's solo material, and the accomplishments Lance and Robbi had playing together in one L.A.'s most critically acclaimed punk bands 'The Darlings", it was a no brainer for the three of them to come together and with the acquisition of guitarist Jay Cash put DramaFiend on the map in November 2003.

Due to their passion and commitment to the music and each other, it did not take long for the hard working quartet to develop their own following based on their must see live show allowing them to begin their rise to the top. Headlining shows at the Viper Room, The El Rey Theater, and The Troubadour, coupled with the recording of their first record entitled "Natural Decay" (due out July 2004) has lead to an overwhelming precense on the internet. Garnering over 50,000 plays and downloads on Soundclick.com and achieving Top 5 (Power Pop) Top 10 (Industrial) and Top 10 (Alternative Punk) the movement has begun and there is no end in sight to their claim for fame. With interest from several major clubs in the heart of Hollywood, the opening of their own "Club Fiend" is imminent and should be just another step up the ladder for this blood, sweat and tears rock n roll machine known as DramaFiend.
