When you hear the word “Drama” what’s the first thing that comes to your mind? Well if you are referring to Enfield, North Carolina’s own Drama Squad, you would think of Underestimated, Unitimidated, Most Anticipated, and Very Educated. Coming from a small town plagued by poverty, drug abuse, and violence inspired a group of young men to proceed in life on a different path by way of song. Expressing personal views from the streets in every aspect of life from street anthems such as “Dis Right Here” and “What It Do”, to positive songs like “Where 2 Go”, “How Will I Know”, and “Pain”, and also such songs as “See U Smile”, “Shake Dem Hataz” and “Hula Hoop” that would bring enjoyment to a party and leave the listeners fulfilled.

Each member has its own distinctive swagger, style, and persona, but all are focused on achieving the same goal. With that being said, great MC’s throughout the nation has influenced each individual in their own special way. The Dr. Dre & 2pac’s of the west, the Biggie & Jay’Z’s of the East, and the Lil Wayne & T.I.’s of the south all have played a role in the foundation of this group. At a very young age each MC showed an undeniable infatuation for music. Today that has made them stronger and more determined than ever.

Appearing on mixtapes throughout North Carolina and other areas brought a variety of conglomerated audiences to pay attention to this group. Da Squad has been seen performing in areas such as Rocky Mount, Roanoke Rapids, and other areas in North Carolina displaying their talents and the reviews have been great. The obtained publicity has gotten Drama Squad daily rotation and interviews from some of NC’s hottest radio stations such as Soul 92.1 Jams, and 95.5 FM, and also the world renowned Sirius Satellite Radio XM.

The loving fans of Drama Squad showed their support as they bought numerous copies of their 1st album, “Da Wait Is Ova: Back In Business”. “Da Wait Is Ova” was heavily accepted worldwide and gave the world just a taste of what Drama Squad has to offer. “Strictly Business”, their 2nd album, which was a double disc production, also set a solid foundation for the group. Now set to drop their 3rd album entitled “Coming of Age, they are focused on showing the world that they are ready to take them by storm and show them why Da Squad is Da Realest And Most Anticipated.
