The LG's

The LG'z started making music in the living room of their home in small town Niles, Michigan in 2007. At the time it was just a hobby that was never meant to turn into a career. It was 3 brothers at the time and 3 closes friends which made it a 6 man group. As time went by the "close" friends started dropping like flies, and all that remained was the three brothers by 2008. The three broters (Spud Makk, Drayton Kyles, and B-Hype) teamed up with a local singer named Martinez who was making moves in the community and he became the fourth member of this up and coming local sensation. In 2008 alone, The LG'z rocked over 50 stages and became the face of local hip hop in Southwest Michigan, what we call Michiana. Nowadays, the LG'z have a new plan and new focus. Early in 2009 The LG'z picked up another member "Mercury" who gives them the southern appeal that this midwest sensation needed. Each member gives The LG'z something that makes the self-titled "Dream Team" a reality. Spud Makk gives the catchy flow that every successful group needs to have to succeed, Drayton Kyles gives the punchlines and metaphors that will keep the true hip hop head's attention, B-Hype gives The LG'z a smooth mixture of lyricism and flow that fits perfectly in the mold, Mercury's southern accent and versatility makes this "dream team" the hottest up and coming hip hop group in the world, and Martinez brings the r&b to these true spitters that the ladies need! The LG'z have performed at clubs and arenas across the country, and lift the event every time! IT'S LG BABY!!

In that time Drayton developed song format and worked on perfecting his own craft. The team decided he should try it on his own, because things just weren't moving fast enough with the group. DRAYTON IS ALIVE!
